Tile Swimming Pools

This project is done during the last year of a 3 year Apprenticeship

The picture above is a project our Apprentices do as part of their off the job training.
It involves rendering the walls plumb, straight and square, screed the floor and cove the wall and floor junction. Set out and tile pool using glass mosaics and grout with 2 part epoxy.

    1. Hello Lars,

      The students are given numerous instructions and some demonstrations when required. This project is part of stage 3 training.

  2. How do the students prepare things like that to get everything waterproof? Do you use special methods?

  3. Hello Nils,

    We render the walls with a 1:3 ratio cement and washed plasterers sand. allow to dry properly and then we waterproof using a 2 part waterproof membrane.WE then tile with glass mosaics and grout with Bissazza epoxy filgel to make it water tight. Kind regards Enzo

      Yes, that would be great!! It may be to cold in Sweeden!! you could have it heated in winter!!
