Hello,
My name is Mark and I work in Western Australia for Polytechnic West. I have worked at our Thornlie campus for a little over two years. I deliver the Cert III (apprenticeship training) in Carpentry & Joinery.
In our Carpentry & Joinery division we have six lecturers delivering courses to approximately 200 students. My first picture is taken from the front entrance of the Block A (where the carpentry & Joinery offices are located).
The campus has specialised workshops, and offers courses in the many different areas - community services, mining and engineering, business and information technology and building and construction. Thornlie campus has over 20 specialist computing laboratories, a fully equipped gymnasium for health and fitness training, and a cafeteria for our students.
I look forward to chatting with everyone.
Mark

ReplyDeletenice works. Do the students mostley use handtools, or are they allowed using machines as well? Do they have to take a certificate for using machines?
